Our client is looking for a AI Specialist to join their London based team on a permanent basis. This is a new position created to meet the demands of providing expert recommendations within the dynamic AI tech landscape.

The AI Specialist will play a pivotal role in crafting insights into AI trends across various industry sectors.

Responsibilities include understanding the fundamental infrastructure, assessing skillsets required for deploying and maintaining AI solutions, and staying informed about the latest AI regulatory developments. The ideal candidate will possess experience in AI market research, a deep understanding of AI tools across diverse infrastructures, and familiarity with emerging topics in AI regulation. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively advising clients on AI technologies. The role also involves some collaboration with internal development teams to design and implement AI products, both in-house and off-the-shelf.

The AI Specialist will join our Digital Transformation (DX) Consultation Department and will have exposure to various industry verticals via our main client - a global conglomerate with group companies in the energy, mineral, chemicals, agriculture, automotive, food, infrastructure, and oil & gas sectors across the EMEA CIS region.

SCOPE OF JOB
Research and document AI trends, practices, architecture, and techniques in multiple industry sectors.
Evaluate clients' business needs, objectives, existing systems, and data flows to design and advise on state-of-the-art solutions.
Align solutions with organizational goals.
Design required architecture and processes for solution development/implementation.
Suggest new and relevant KPIs for proposed projects/solutions.
Present findings to clients through well-documented technical/non-technical solution summaries.
Adopt modern data science best practices in productionizing solutions.
Experiment with new ML/DL libraries, models, and techniques.
Identify opportunities for external data acquisition that will benefit clients.
Explore ways to enhance data quality, reliability, and security.
Assist consultants with project roadmaps/proposals, selection of tech partners, and PoC preparations.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALITIES

Essential:

Bachelors/Masters in a STEM subject.
5+ years of experience as an AI Analyst, Architect, Specialist, Data Scientist, or in a similar role.
Demonstrable history and knowledge in AI evolution, trends, and involvement in cutting-edge AI projects, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent understanding of various AI solutions and associated architectures.
Good understanding of programming languages (especially Python), ML techniques, databases, ETL tools, APIs, BI tools, Generative AI solutions, and cloud infrastructure.
Interest in new technology, willingness to broaden knowledge of the wider tech industry.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey insights and explain complex solutions in layman's terms to clients.
Ability to own client deliverables and relationships.
Ability to manage own workload and identify when it is appropriate to escalate issues to management.
Native/fluent/Business level of written & spoken English language.

Desirable:

Experience providing AI Consultation to multiple industry sectors.
Degree/Certifications in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, applied math, or a similar field; a Master's is a plus.
Experience working in a team of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
