WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOUWestray Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Break Press Operator to join our client based in Gateshead. The is a dayshift only role on a temp to perm contract. The right candidate can be paid up to £14.50 per hour and work a four-day week Monday-Thursday.THE BUSINESSThe company in question have established a reputation for quality and service, manufacturing a vast range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted and laser cut components to our customer's specification. Our ever-growing client base including industries such as Sub-sea, Oil Gas and Exploration, Rail, Marine, Fastenings, Furniture, Defence and Aerospace.THE ROLEWorking as part of a team to produce sheet metal products for a variety of industry sectors.Setting and Operating CNC Press Break machines.As a subcontractor there are a large variety of materials and components which requires setting and running to be efficient as possible, in a fast-paced environment.Working on a variety of machines, including Trumpf and SafanIn process inspection in line with quality control.THE PERSONYou must have experience as a CNC Brake Press setter / operator with programming experience.Able to read and work from engineering drawingsAbility to use measuring equipment, Vernier's and height gauges etc.The salary for the position is depending on experience.THE PACKAGEThis is a day shift role Monday - Thursday 7am till 5.15pmAfter a successful probationary period (12 weeks) a permanent contract will be offeredOvertime paid at enhanced rates mid-week and Friday morningsTO APPLYPlease apply for this position and your CV will go direct to our Engineering Consultant Neil Douthwaite who is leading the search.
