Premier Work Support have a fantastic opportunity for a Estates Manager to work on a project basis within the healthcare sector. A highly developed specialist knowledge of hospital building and engineering services, e.g. legionella, pressure systems, piped medical gases, high and low voltage electrics, steam/ water systems, lifts, pneumatic tube systems, etc. will be required.
This is a full time project role due to start in November for the right candidate, potentially through to the end of February 2021 - this may change according to the project plan.
You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the Estates Department staff; including electrical, mechanical, building. Liaising with the senior team and reporting any relevant issues, you will make sure that maintenance work is managed effectively and provides value for money. You will identify any issues accordingly for both reactive & planned maintenance.
This role requires a relevant background with proven experience in a Project Management and a Chartered Engineer role. As a problem solver with a positive approach, you will have a sound knowledge of health and safety, and all relevant environmental legislation. PAM, NHS, HTM or HBNs certification is desirable.
