As an Estimator at Optimal Maintenance, your role is vital for seamless . You create detailed quotes based on Engineer's reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Promptly sending out quotations within 24 hours and managing daily reports on quote activity are essential tasks. Your diligence in following up with subcontractors and handling queries efficiently contributes to project success. Additionally, you play a key role in coordinating engineer assignments and meeting KPI targets.
Requirements
The day-to-day role as a Estimator includes:
Prepare comprehensive quotes based on the Engineer's findings.
Ensure timely delivery of quotations within 24 hours of site visits.
Include clear step-by-step instructions in our quotes to help clients and engineers understand the necessary actions to complete the job.
Provide daily reports on the number and value of quotations sent.
Consistently follow up with sub-contractors to obtain their reports and quotations on a daily basis.
Handle any queries related to quotations promptly and effectively.
Persistently pursue feedback on quotations and update eWorks accordingly.
Assign the most suitable engineers, based on their skill set and location, to attend quotations.
Complete the morning meeting template following company procedures and provide daily reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for KPIs.
Requirements

Ability to carefully review engineer reports and accurately translate them into comprehensive quotes.
Proficiency in managing multiple quotations simultaneously, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining documentation.
Clear and concise communication skills to effectively liaise with engineers, clients, and subcontractors, both verbally and in writing.
Capability to analyse project requirements and engineer reports to provide accurate cost estimates and step-by-step descriptions in quotes.
Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines, send out quotations promptly within 24 hours, and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets.
Ability to handle client queries related to quotations promptly and efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the quotation process.
