As part of our service delivery team, you'll be there for our customers whenever they need you. In this hands-on role, you'll be familiar with a wide range of central heating systems, ensuring they are safely installed and working efficiently in line with manufacturer specifications. You will cover a wide range of jobs and help solve problems, making sure that all our properties and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
The main aspect of your role will be in our void properties, between tenancies, where you will be turning on and testing the boilers, ensuring the heating system is fit for purpose and meets all relevant specifications. You'll be diagnosing and attending to any faults as well as capping off and performing the relevant safety checks. You'll also ensure that appropriate control and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all time and be able to undertake specialist commercial and domestic-related work without direction or supervision.

To be a heating engineer with us, you will need:
- CCN1: ACS Gas Safe - Core Gas Safety Certificate or Equivalent
- CENWAT: Domestic Gas Fired Central Heating / Hot Water Boiler & Circulators, 70KW and Instantaneous Water Heating Appliances
- CKR1: ACS Gas Safe - Cookers and Hobs
- HTR1: ACS Gas Safe - Gas Fires
- Part P, advantageous but not essential
- Unvented Systems, advantageous but not essential
- HEATAS, LPG, OFTEC and Air Source/ Ground Source, would be beneficial. If not held, be prepared to train to obtain qualifications
- An outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard without close supervision
- Confidence in using IT systems and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A full, clean driving licence.
This role is based from our offices in Chipping Sodbury (BS37) and will involve extensive travel to and from the surrounding areas.
Your previous experience may be in roles such as heating engineer, gas engineer, gas service engineer, gas heating engineer, gas repair engineer, plumbing and heating engineer, amongst others.
