Job Description: Lettings & Office Administrator Working for an independent Estate Agency specialising in lettings, sales and property management in Barnes, South West London. Main tasks: • Lettings progression assistance; once a tenant has been found for a property, gathering all necessary information and drawing up appropriate paperwork to ensure smooth move in • Answer phones, taking general enquiries and registering new applicants • Book in viewings for sales team • Help lettings manager with diary management and perform viewings when busy • Match tenants on new properties • Work with Property Manager to deal with overflow of day to day property management issues and cover property management when necessary (liaise with tenants, landlords and suppliers) • Assist with organising gas safeties (liaising with tenants, landlords and gas engineer) • Register new appliances in managed properties • Sorting out managed properties bills (when vacant) • Assist with team as and when necessary • Office supplies: in charge of ordering all stationery as and when needed • Keep office neat and presentable for clients, water plants etc. Characteristics required: Team player Can do attitude Desire to help out and muck in when necessary Attention to detail Would best suit someone new (or relatively new) in their career as it s a junior role with little scope for progression internally. You would be working for, and learning from, some very talented people so you will gain invaluable experience for onward moves. Monday Friday, 9am to 6pm 100% office based except when out on viewings
