Lifestory offers an exceptional collection of quality homes and services that have been created by our brands: Anthology, PegasusLife and Renaissance Retirement. Together we create homes and serve our customers at every stage of their life.

PegasusLife has a vision to fundamentally change the way retirement property is understood and delivered in the U.K. Each development is uniquely designed to give people an experience based on what matters to them. It is 'Retirement Living, but not as you know it'. Renaissance Retirement, thanks to their shared vision, joined PegasusLife in 2017.

Anthology is also well versed in delivering residential developments in London and have a similar mission to enhance neighbourhoods, celebrate the people, their stories and the culture that makes the city such an exciting place to live.

By bringing these Companies together we are creating something which is unique to our sector and brings a different approach and offering to both residential and retirement developments.

The Role

Coming on board as a graduate, you'll be immersed into the workings of a fast-paced property development company during an exciting time in our growth. You'll contribute to the success of our development and project management functions, while gaining exposure to a broad range of departments and disciplines within our diverse business.

Graduates will gain experience in a broad range of skills including: construction project management, programme management, design management, commercial and financial control, residential sales cycle, development management and dealing directly with our customers. The aim is to prepare the graduate in effective project delivery and profit creation, whilst providing them with a deep affinity for the Lifestory culture, in order to ensure they are ready to take up their position after their two year programme.

As a Lifestory graduate, you can expect a tailored learning programme and to be provided with direct experience across the company. This will include time spent with individuals who work alongside Development Directors, such as marketing, sales, finance, commercial, land and planning.

The Person

We want to recruit and develop the next generation of talent who will quickly become trusted partners within our company and eventually, leaders in our fast-paced industry. A guideline of the sort of candidates we are looking for:

Academic requirements
  • A minimum 2:1 honours degree in a property or engineering related course, Master's preferred
  • Excellent academic track record

  • Previous work experience or placement experience in the residential property sector highly desirable
  • Exposure to working in an office environment preferable

Skills & knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience of using a range of software systems and analysis tools
  • Awareness of contemporary issues surrounding property and housing

  • Interest in the property development industry
  • Ambitious approach
  • Confident and able to challenge convention
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Analytical approach

Location, Salary & Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary, and bonus, alongside a benefits package including enhanced annual leave, life assurance, Healthshield, and a contributory pension.

We're looking for graduates to join each of our regions. If successful you will be based in our of our business regions as follows:
  • London and South East Region, regional office; Borough, London
  • South and South West Region, regional offices; Winchester & Ringwood
  • Midlands and North Region, regional office; Cheltenham

There will also be frequent travel to our other offices and developments.

Successful candidates will start their roles with us Summer 2020.
