Mobile Air Conditioning Supervisor, covering Central London
A large facilities service provider is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who holds the F-Gas qualification as well as extensive experience to be utlised within their solutions team to oversee engineers across the portfolio as well as providing maintenance assistance where required. This role is offering a salary of £43,000 per annum, with fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the contract, and company in general.
The ideal candidate will need to have exceptional commercial experience who can also lead, oversee, and assist with any additional maintenance as a bonus. This is a stable business which is always looking to develop its already broad contract base, leading to great career/business opportunities.
You will be required to work a 40 hour week between Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5pm with overtime opportunities available.
Responsible for the technical performance and maintaining company and industry standards within the contract, providing guidance to others on site and technical expertise in Mechanical & HVAC systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
The technician will have advanced technical knowledge in commercial building maintenance of lighting & power related equipment, such as;
· Overseeing the F-Gas Solutions team
· PPM & reactive tasks
· HVAC systems
· AC units, Air handlers, Fan coil units, Multi and split units, VRV/VRF's
· VAV's & HIU's
· Condenser units
· Cassette units
· BMS systems
· Providing technical support
·Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H & S & environmental regulations.
·Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standards.
·Install, commission & service of electrical systems.
·Diagnose, fault-find, debug and commission systems, utilising appropriate technical skills and system knowledge.
·Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance, through PPM programme as appropriate, identifying any additional works required to meet fit for purpose standards.
·Administer and complete relevant paperwork for all assignments and forward to the appointed office for filing.
·Plan, prioritise and resource projects, assessing material requirements in accordance with company procedures.
·Permits to work procedures are followed in liaison with line manager.
·Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, establishing regular contact with appropriate personnel.
The successful candidate:
· C&G Level 2 in Mechanical Services (Plumbing, Air Con or other)
· F-Gas 2079 Category 1
·At least 3 years experience working as a Maintenance Supervisor / Lead
