Multi-Skilled Plumber (Renewable Energy) £28,000 plus Gas Safety allowance + excellent benefits Redhill, Surrey Join this innovative social business as a Multi-Skilled Plumber and put your passion for Net Zero Carbon and renewable technologies into our quest to change the way we heat our homes. You will play a key role in our new service, installing renewable technology, such as air source and ground source heat pumps, and solar energy in homes across the region. As a Multi-Skilled Plumber , you'll be joining our customer-focused trades team at an exciting time. We're launching a new service for homeowners, landlords, builders and developers to install renewable technology, such as air source and ground source heat pumps, in homes across the region. Carrying out responsive and planned plumbing works, you'll play a key part in the project - building new homes and retrofitting older stock to be fit for the future. You'll be expected to handle the associated admin and to perform related multi-skilled building tasks, such as minor carpentry, tiling and repairs-based redecoration. To help you, we'll provide an advanced scheduling tool that lets you use your home as your base and intuitively plans your workload so you can start and finish close to home. You'll also have a works vehicle and tools, a Trade Card to purchase all necessary materials including safety wear, and a uniform. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience or a real interest in renewable technologies. Ideally you'll already be qualified at Level 3 'Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pumps'. You'll definitely have good customer skills, together with either NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing/conventional heating engineering or the equivalent years of relevant experience, plus Water Regulations/Byelaws and Energy Efficiency certificates - and a full driving licence. The successful candidate will be required to attend training sessions, which in turn will give them the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills around renewable technologies.
