Wood is currently recruiting for a Programme Execution Co - ordinator based on site in Barrow-In Furness.
Individual will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in the Management and Planning of Subcontractors/Vendors - oil and gas experience is not essential.
Overall execution of all in - scope activities under the contract will be managed by the Wood Programme Execution Co - ordinator, based at Barrow Terminal. This role acts as the senior representative for Wood on site, responsible for the local organisation of resources and liquidation of work across the offshore and onshore sites. Experience on similar contracts which we have operated shows that single point accountability that this role provides simplifies execution and enables blockers to performance to be managed effectively
The Programme Execution Co - Ordinator will coordinate the scopes and manage the interface with all stakeholders and be responsible for plan attainment in terms of preparedness, gate compliance and execution feedback. We see this role serving as the focal point for onsite interface with the client.
Site Supervision will report to the Delivery Coordinator and this role will the focal point and key decision maker for day to day site execution introducing a strong frontline leadership presence to build and maintain a performance culture
This hand - on position will be to ensure that client requested work is directed to the correct delivery team and then executed efficiently. This will also include offshore trips as required and will be responsible for all aspects of site delivery; including safety leadership, workforce engagement and performance plus implementing late life focused continuous improvement initiatives"
Responsible for the local organization of resources and liquidation of work across onshore and offshore sites
Responsible for plan attainment in terms of preparedness, gate compliance and execution feedback
Manages interfaces with client and sub - contractors Interface with asset management team to resolve issues and debottleneck process barriers. Leading and managing Maintenance Activity
Providing discipline expertise to the business
Executing assigned scopes of work. Delivering against contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and business objectives
Provide line management for consolidated services contract
Skills / Qualifications
In conjunction with the line, manages succession planning for direct reports
Provides coaching and mentoring for direct reports
Actively supports recruitment, selection, transfers and promotion of resources to meet succession and business plans
Supporting the development and retention of motivated competent people
Ensuring competence of deputies
Setting expectations for the delivery team and manages performance of direct reports
Adhere to and comply with relevant expectations of the Operations Excellence Framework
Supporting the development and delivery of assurance plan
Monitoring compliance with competence standards
Participating in incident investigations as required
Development and maintenance of contract specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and their measurement and reporting in the business
Subject Matter Expertise:
Actively maintaining own competence and continuous development
Providing service delivery support to the business
Ensuring learning opportunities are captured and realized
Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation
Proficiency in scope definition
Deputizing for line manager as required
Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports / respective team
Executing assigned business objectives
Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
Management and direction of resources to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
Continuous promotion of, and adherence to, management system and providing feedback for continuous improvement
Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate across the business interfaces.
Engage with and promote consolidated services. Community development including: networking knowledge sharing
Maintain communication with respective focal points
Manage interfaces across service line and business boundaries
Communicate and co - operate with external stakeholders including: Client, Industrial bodies, academia, market intelligence, relevant conferences, vendors, business acquisition and business development
BSc, B.Eng. or equivalent professional qualification
HND / HNC in engineering or equivalent with relevant considerable experience
Recognized and accredited management qualification
Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position
