Sales and Marketing Executive: In order to identify and develop new commercial opportunities, a self-motivated, highly driven Sales and Marketing Executive is required to join a leading construction industry organisation with exciting, well defined growth plans.
Working in spacious, Covid compliant offices, the successful Sales and Marketing Executive will use their previous proven business development experience to drive sales and investigate new markets.
The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge of the broader construction industry, and, if possible, the scaffolding sector.
Investigation of new markets and tender opportunities across a diverse sector.
Securing new business
Supporting our team of Estimators and Contract Managers.
keeping up to date with market conditions and undertaking research to provide relevant insights and analysis.
Improvement of customer relations and development of existing business.
Accurate record keeping a sales progress on our CRM system.
Knowledge & use of a variety of market research companies.
Promote the company through social media. Updating and promotion of website.
Encouragement of positive attitude and communication throughout company workforce.
Skills & Experiences
Previous experience in broad business development role with knowledge of proven sales and marketing techniques
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Good telephone manner.
Attention to detail and ability to react quickly.
Able to produce accurate monthly sales pipeline reports.
Excellent knowledge of IT, in particular CRMs and Excel.
Ability to generate enquiries and assist in tender processes from pre-qualification questionnaires to contract acceptance.
First-rate ability to use technology, and data analytics to increase efficiency of sales.
Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable, but not essential
