Job Purpose

The Senior CSA Procurement & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for enabling:

The stable, resilient and successful growth of all the Engineering Business Units C.S.A (Civils, Structural & Architectural) supply chains to meet their Business Plans including but not limited to the following trades:

Groundworkers (Enabling Works, Substructure and External Works)

Infrastructure Works (Drainage, HV/LV cable pits, Gas Water)

Piling

Steelwork & Intumescent paintwork

Cladding & Roofing

Specialist Concrete Works (FM2 Slabs)

White wall installations

Fit Out Works (Raised Floors, Dry Lining, Suspended Ceilings, Joinery, Carpets & Decorations)

For the promotion of ISG on a global basis to the supply chain.

Performance measurement of all the supply chain to ensure ISG undertakes detailed workload analysis and promotes a supply chain that delivers high quality products within a predictable time scale and whose values and culture closely aligns with those of ISG.

The support of one global supply chain data base system that supported the ISG business in all key deliverables including but not limited to PQQ, bid list compilation and stakeholders, solvency and workload analysis.

The optimisation of supply chain and supplier rebate revenue generated within the engineering business.

Supporting the growth and management of a global supply chain framework on both a global, strategic and preferred in country basis regarding Engineering including the promotion of long-term supply chain relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

The Senior CSA Procurement & Supply Chain Manager would have direct reporting lines and accountability to the Commercial Director of Engineering Services.

The Senior CSA Procurement & Supply Chain Manager must ensure he creates, promotes and maintains relationships with all key supply chain members that:

Promote ISG as one of their preferred customers

Understand the workload commitments of both the vendor and ISG to ensure the vendor does not overcommit and fail to deliver an adequate service.

Assess the performance of the vendors against agreed KPI's.

Assess the solvency of the vendor.

Ensure the vendor provides an adequate tendering service to ISG.

Assess the compliance of the vendor in meeting all the PQQ criteria of ISG.

Propose Framework agreements for subcontractors / suppliers who can offer a service to multiple countries to ISG.

Understand the pipeline CSA needs of all the Engineering BU's at all times and ensure he provides adequate supply chain coverage to meet the tendering and delivery needs of all the Engineering BU's.

Supply Chain Management

Support the delivery of the long-term strategic plan for supply chain which is reviewed and signed off by Commercial Director, COO's, GCD's and Statutory Board at every annual business planning cycle

Operates the ISG data base supply chain system that supports all relevant aspects of supply chain appointment, growth and assessment.

Manage and develop the ISG global, strategic and preferred CSA supply chain framework ensuring suitable trading terms and conditions are agreed for all these supply chain members, that relationships are nurtured and developed where appropriate and that the CSA supply chain is fit for purpose in providing suitable subcontractors and suppliers to all parts of the ISG engineering business. Group Commercial Directors and the Group Legal Director need to provide agreement to any specific sub-contract amendments requested by a supply chain member.

Ensure all agreed policy and governance in relation to supply chain is delivered.

Always promoted Best Practice in relation to all matters related to Supply Chain.

Ensure ISG maximises in the rebate (direct and indirect, singular and tiered) it can secure from the ISG supply chain based upon the work undertaken.

Promote ISG to the global supply chain to the best of their ability.

Provide relevant and timely supply chain feedback to the appropriate BU's and as necessary, Group Director level.

Ensure adequate supply chain resource is provided to all BU's when tendering for work and for the procurement of secured works in consultation with the Commercial Director, COO and Group Commercial Director.

Ensure the production of high-quality management reporting information as required by the Commercial Director, COO, Group Commercial Director and ISG statutory Board.

Degree qualified / professional qualifications

Skills and Experience

Experience across multiple sectors in the C.S.A trades including the procurement of significant size subcontracts in these trades.

Experience in developing mature strategic C.S.A supply chain relationships with major sized businesses.

Experience of performing a senior management role in a large global and/or Pan European organisation.

Experience of working in both the C.S.A subcontractor supply chain marketplace.

Experience in working in a global and/or Pan European capacity in previous organisations in a similar role to this.

Experience in operating and managing a global supply chain data base system.
