Summary of role:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our Global Centre of Excellence for Metrics and Analytics. This is a leadership role engaging directly with the market to deliver major projects to our clients. It will involve collaborating with global Anthesis sustainability experts and with other Senior Technical Consultants to develop market opportunities and innovative ways of approaching analytics.
The role embraces three broad areas of delivery as follows:
• Technical project management, direction and delivery• Client management and business development• Team management and mentoring
Technical projects involve:
• Performing detailed technical calculations in the context of wide ranging projects to determine to determine material flows, greenhouse gas emissions, ecological footprints and other environmental, economic and social metrics• Data modelling and quality assurance• Development of analytical methods and processes• Life cycle product supply chain mapping• Technical research and results dissemination• Report writing
• 1st Class or 2:1 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Bachelors/Master's Degree• 3-4 years' experience in relevant work or research position• Excellent Excel skills and other analytical software• Demonstrable client management and business development skills• Line management experience• Development of internal processes and standards and/or contribution to third party standards development• Self-motivation and curiosity• Strong communication and consulting skills • Team player
