Site Supervisor
(Working Site Supervisor Role)
Up to £40k per year plus company van and fuel card.
Working Locations - Based in Surrey and travel to sites around the Southern Home Counties.
28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)
40 hours per week - Typically 08:00 to 16:30 Mon-Fri, but some flexibility will be required.
Reed Recruitment (Southampton branch ) are recruiting for a Working Installations Site Supervisor for our client based in Surrey. Our client is a leading Acoustic Engineering Company, they design and install noise and vibration control equipment for the construction industry. Sites will be in the surrounding southern home counties to Surrey, including London.
Position Overview:
- Supervising and overseeing the installation of projects from delivery to handover.
- Representing the company at site meetings with customers, designers, and contractors.
- Ensuring projects are installed in line with design specifications, drawings, and appropriate quality and health & safety criteria.
- Supervising staff and sub-contractors throughout the installation phase including the reporting and recording of health & Safety onsite.
- Ensuring installation work is carried out within budget and to agreed programme.
- Updating management with information on progress and issues daily.
- Preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments for installation works.
- Candidate should be based, or willing to relocate to Surrey.
- Candidates should be flexible at times to work some early starts, some late finishes, some weekend working, and some overnight stays may be required whereby the company will put you up in a hotel.
Position Requirements:
- Firsthand experience of installation works, including the competent use of hand tools, is essential, as the successful candidate will be required to personally undertake some smaller installation works and snagging activities and act as a working supervisor on larger installations.
- Ability to read and interpret site installation plans.
- Proven background of successfully supervising installation works within the construction industry.
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Good verbal communication skills at all level levels
Qualification Requirements:
Essential:
- Full UK Driving licence
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Skilled Worker or supervisor/manager CSCS card
- PASMA
- Manual Handling training certification
- Reasonable level of IT literacy & able to read drawings
