They are now seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a track record of continuous improvement to undertake a key role in the leadership team to lead the implementation of Supply Chain strategy and drive continuous improvement projects.

Description

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the engagement, management and development of a team of supply chain professionals. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day function including Inventory, logistics and customer service to ensure effective delivery of end to end supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities

Facilitate continuous improvement projects related to supply chain and customer service processes
Ensuring raw materials and finished goods are managed effectively
Efficient and cost-effective Distribution capacity
Ensure best practices supply chain processes are in place and improved on
Best practice facilitation through knowledge share, development, coaching and mentoring of team members and wider colleagues
Achievement of defined Key Performance Indicators, and identify actions for improvement improve these
Budgetary management for the supply chain function
Profile

The ideal candidate for the role of Supply Chain Manager for this organisation will have a track record of delivering results that create value through supply chains. You will be recognised as having a collaborative approach to relationships with the ability to act as a partner to both internal and external colleagues. You will bring strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple supply chain projects.

Qualifications

Degree qualified Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or QBE
Demonstrable Leadership experience of supply chain management in FMCG Food or Drink sector
Understanding of warehousing processes, storage and production facilities
Experience negotiating strategic contracts with suppliers
A track record of delivering results that create value through supply chains
IT Proficient with experience of ERP systems
