Role: Technical account manager/Internal Sales

Location: Huntingdon (Onsite Role) so want local candidates and you MUST drive

Experience: 1 year + experience +

Salary: £30,000 approx

The role:

  • To develop solid long-term relationships with assigned customers by fully understanding their requirements.
  • Contribute to support growth of the business by maximising sales opportunities and achieving sales targets.
  • You will need to nourish current clients, phone existing clients, introduce new products, and give the client ideas.
  • Give clients technical support
  • Able to read electronics OR mechanical diagrams (ideally)
  • Sort quote requests and review product ranges and make recommendations
  • Work with suppliers and engineers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Participate in negotiating contracts and agreements to optimise profit.
  • Engage with new/potential customers and provide solutions/proposals to meet the needs of both parties.
  • Provide forecasts and track key account metrics ie, revenue, profit, OTIF delivery.
  • Ensure internal MRP system is maintained and up to date with customer requirements.
  • Provide customers with updates on delivery and build statuses.
  • Compile and provide quotations based on specific customer needs.
  • Understanding the fast-paced environment in which electronics customers operate and the need for quick response times.
  • As primary point of contact support any quality issues or any other problems and ensure a satisfactory resolution is reached in a timely manner.
  • Arrange and support on-site customer visits, tours and general meetings.
  • Attend customer sites for meetings as and when required.
  • Arrange Contract Review meetings to discuss, plan and facilitate customer requirements.
  • Serve as the key link between all internal stakeholders within company and customers.
