Are you a driven and skilled Technical Sales Engineer with a background in commercial HVAC, Air Source Heat Pumps, and renewable energy solutions? If so, we want you to be a part of our team!

Aster Building Services Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to join us in developing opportunities and driving sales in our dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities by researching and targeting potential accounts within the contractor, architect, and engineering sectors
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing technical expertise, preparing detailed quotations and proposals, and offering exceptional customer service
  • Manage and nurture assigned key accounts, providing regular feedback to management
  • Maintain an accurate and transparent sales pipeline to facilitate ongoing sales forecasts
  • Assess and address remedial works efficiently, ensuring client needs are met promptly
  • Proactively follow up on leads and report any potential backlog to management to maintain positive customer relations
  • Participate in internal sales meetings, providing comprehensive status reports and contributing to sales goal forecasting
  • Ensure seamless handover of won projects to the Operations team for efficient execution
  • Provide accurate purchasing information to streamline project administration
  • Offer after-sales support and troubleshooting, understanding that this may occasionally require work outside of normal hours
  • Ensure all statutory health and safety requirements are adhered to
  • Ensure the Company H&S policies and processes are followed at all times

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Understanding and interpreting technical requirements and specifications
  • Technically qualified with a recognisable UK qualification at a level commensurate with the role
  • Up to date with current industry standards and regulations
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to carry out and record accurate surveys for potential projects or other work at client sites and to provide for further design development and pricing
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Other Job Details:

  • Hours of Work: 42.5 hours a week (08.30am - 5.00pm)
  • Salary: £30 to 40k range + Commission
  • Contract: Permanent Contract
  • Pension: Company Pension Scheme Auto Enrolment
  • Probation: 6 months
