Project Manager / Contracts Manager / Account Manager
Purpose:
Managing assigned projects, co-ordinating activities within the Company and providing an interface between customers and the Company following order acceptance through to order delivery. Along with creating quotations and bid packages, the role is responsible for ensuring financial and technical compliance with customer requirements.
Key Duties:
- Project-manage assigned orders and provide feedback both internally and externally regarding contract status.
- Communicate with customer representative regarding assigned orders and contracts.
- Create Project Plans where required/requested for ease of communication and control throughout the project.
- Ensure timely contract status reporting and maintain project registers, documentation and files.
- Monitor contract spend, ensuring costs remains within budget estimates.
- Provide customer with accurate and detailed proposals based on project requirements.
- Co-ordinate client visits to Bentley facility and maintain client visits to their facilities as required.
- Deliver on time month end reporting & presentations.
- Support BDM on contract awards and any new business opportunities.
- Identify and support process and system enhancements through continuous improvement.
- Assist with preparation and management of enquiries / quotations using Manufacturing (Visual) / MS Office software & Electronic Systems. (Visual/Word/Excel/eCommerce)
- Maintain Quotation Register and File Structure, including document management of customer specifications and clarification logs with company system (DDM)
- Create & maintain price lists where appropriate
- Provide commercial guidance to the organisation, value engineering, upselling and other cost and price drivers
Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
Project Management. MS software applications (Projects, Power Point, Word, Excel etc.). Excellent commercial, numerical, analytical skills. Preferably Oil / Gas / Energy industry experience. Basic understanding of manufacturing, planning and supply chain principles.
