We are currently recruiting for a Engineering Manager for one of our clients with in the Renewable industry , this is permanent role .
Key role in the overall success of our organisation by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions. Youwill be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes, budgets, and time lines and making anynecessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion.
Applying knowledge of quality assurance standardsand procedures and responsible for overseeing the design and project engineers.
Main Responsibilities
Provide overall planning and direction for the project office and design and project engineers in line with managementteam objectives.
Lead Technical Proposal discussions during project kick off and scope-review meetings with clients/partners andinternal stakeholders gaining agreements on responsibilities ensuring to highlight risk elements.
Provide Technical Engineering input as required to sales function technically analysing and evaluating enquiries,preparing the technical offer, analysing project specifications and designing the technical solution.
Determines client and project specifications, objectives, schedule and responsibilities, by reviewing clientdocumentation, identifying customer requirements conferring with the management team.
Maintain financial diligence through the execution of budget and cost control to help meet projected profitability targets and business results, identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and systems.
Respond to technical clarifications received from clients and attend clarification meetings when required. (Possibility offoreign travel)
Direct, manage, coach, motivate, train, and assess performance of Design and Project Engineers, by reviewing theperformance of staff and organise necessary training or interventions for improvement.
Participate in Company Strategic Planning within the management team.
Oversee Engineering deliverables looking to continually improve company procedures and ensuring efficiency at alltimes.
Manage, build and develop relationships with suppliers and contractors to maintain project schedule by monitoringprogress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
Comply with ISO accreditation requirements, devising and establishing a company's Quality, Environment and
Health and Safety procedures, standards and specifications within the Engineering remit.
Perform other duties as assigned by the directors or senior management team.
Key Skill Requirements
Degree/HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline HND must be accompanied with work experience.Alternative qualifications may be considered acceptable.
Proven track record at Leadership level with evidence of objectives, budgets, KPI's, and continual improvement.
Experience and understanding in the oil gas and renewable markets.
A proven manager of people with a measurable track record of creating successful teams in product or service delivery.
Good Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills; including the ability to communicate with internal &external customer contacts and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.Engineering drawing/drafting experience, for the purpose of creating general arrangement drawings.
Experience with Solidworks is an advantage.

UK Full Driving License. Right to work in the UK.
Nice to Haves
Experience and understanding in the Oil/Gas and renewable market
Markets with a. knowledge of offshore operations.
