Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Oldham area are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Engineer/ Estimator to join the business on a permanent basis due to continued growth
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a similar role managing client enquiries from estimating, technical discussions, bid management through to closing the sale.
Candidates must have experience with Estimating Fabricated products costs for various sectors including Nuclear/ Defence and Oil and Gas to be considered for the role given the nature of the work.
Hours - Monday - Friday 830AM - 4.30PM
Responsibilities
- Manage client enquiries from estimating, technical discussions, bid management through to closing the sale
- Coordinate with clients and other key stakeholders such as Purchasing/ Planning/ Production / Shipping to ensure accurate and timely quotations are provided.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrable experience in Sales Engineering / Estimation in a Manufacturing environment
- Experienced in seeing quotations through to close of sale.
- Working knowledge of Fabricationin medium to heavy manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure
