Ellon, Aberdeenshire Reed

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who service the oil and gas industry that are looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in the Ellon area of Aberdeen.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm

Rate: £18 - £23p/hour, Over-time 1.5x up to 60hrs and 2x thereafter

Daily Duties -

• Operate computer-controlled machine to cut, make, and manufacture precision parts
• Load and unload material, set up and operate a CNC machine
• Assisting in Quality control of parts and stock control
• Ensuring that operating policies and procedures are adhered to
• Basic servicing and maintenance of equipment
• General house keeping

Candidate Requirements -

• Recognised apprenticeship in a technical discipline preferred
• Minimum 4 years' experience within a machine shop environment
• Driving Licence
