We are working with our client who are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a 5 Axis CNC Miller on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.
Responsibilities
- Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
- Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium
- Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
- Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes
Person Specification
- A time served CNC Machinist with relevant 5 axis turning experience
- Programming experience advantageous
- Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment
- Will be willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others
- Flexible in their approach willing to do overtime when required to suit customers requirements
Benefits
- £35k-£45k annual salary
- 37hpw, starting on days shift then moving to either two weeks days, two weeks nights, or a three week shift pattern
