ARC are looking for CNC Miller Programmer, setter operators for our client based in Stoke Mandeville.
Our client is a leading manufacturing company that specializes in producing high-quality precision parts and gears for aerospace , motorsport, and advance technology sectors. Overall
You will be involved in 4-5 axis programming, setting of vertical machining centres. Specialise in complex prismatic parts for the Aerospace, motorsport and oil and gas industry. Interesting parts that are small to medium batch quantities. You will be required to create programmes with experience using cnc mills with 4th axis control on Matsuura and Hass vertical machining centres. You will be able to understand drawings with close tolerances and be experienced in machining different types of materials.
Hourly rate - £16.50 - £21.50p/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
Overtime rates - time and third weekdays and time and half weekends.
Key responsibilities
Setting CNC vertical machining centre Mazak, Mastuura and Hass
Experience work holiding methods and best practice
High precision machining
Working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings
Operating tools to engineering drawings and designs
Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control
Inspection and control of meeting quality requirement
About you
Minimum 3 years experience in either programming setting or operating cnc mills
Have working knowledge of Mazak mazatrol programming, 30/31 series Fanuc Control
Edgecam and Hypermill programming experience would be advantageous
A sound working knowledge and undertaing of machine tooling and proper tool usage is essential
