Commercial Gas Engineer

Department: Maintenance

Salary Range: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum

Location: South East (Bristol/Somerset)

Role Overview:

  • Full-time permanent position (42.5 hours per week, plus overtime)
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across various commercial properties
  • Collaborate with the helpdesk to manage work orders
  • Handle minor installations and maintenance tasks across multiple sites
  • Maintain compliance paperwork and report diligently
  • Prioritise quality and service in a customer-focused environment
  • Ensure all tasks meet the highest standards of workmanship and safety
  • Availability for out-of-hours callouts and occasional weekend work
  • Collaborate with both project and planned/reactive maintenance teams

Required Skills:

  • Recognised domestic and commercial gas qualifications, including but not limited to:
  • Commercial CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A (catering and laundry experience preferred)
  • Domestic: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
  • Proficiency in RAMS & PTW procedures
  • Manufacturer training is advantageous
  • Familiarity with renewable energy is a plus
  • Experience in dynamic and reactive maintenance roles
