Commercial Gas Engineer - London
Our client is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their existing team of Engineers servicing commercial sites across the UK as part of their successful Facilities Management division.
We are looking to recruit several Engineers spread across the UK, the workload will then be planned within the candidate's region. Nationwide travel will still be occasionally required to meet the needs of the business and so the ideal candidate should be willing to cover areas beyond their region.
It would be hugely advantageous for the successful candidate to possess other skills and qualifications beyond Commercial Gas; with higher salary packages available to those who can demonstrate this.

Responsibilities:
- Service and Maintenance works for a wide range of clients
- Assisting with/leading scheduled PPM contract visits
- Attending sites for urgent reactive works
- Preparing and submitting to the office reports and details to support remedial works and quoted works
- Liaising with office staff to progress jobs in an effective and timely manner
- Logging and submitting work reports electronically
- Liaising with end-users and clients to provide updates
- Ensuring high standards are always maintained and procedures adhered to
Candidate Specification:
- The ideal candidate would be an experienced Engineer with the qualifications and confidence to deal with a variety of Gas/HVAC works on a day-to-day basis.
- The successful applicant should be confident and proficient enough to work alone, whilst also working well with others as often a two-man team will be required.
Essential:
- Commercial Gas Certification
- Full, clean Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel nationally
Desirable:
- 5+ years-experience in Commercial Gas
- Additional qualifications (including but not limited to: Electrics, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Fabric)
- PASMA Certification
- IPAF Certification
- Proficient with IT (work is issued and reports filed electronically)
