Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Plymouth

Our client, a regional MEP contractor, have an opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team in Plymouth.
Duties:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain gas appliances and systems
- Carry out inspections to identify gas leaks or malfunctions
- Plumb gas pipes and connections ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Utilise power tools for cutting, welding, and soldering gas pipes
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Utilise carpentry skills for fitting gas appliances securely
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair gas systems
- Handle hand tools proficiently for various installation tasks
- Perform heavy lifting when required
Requirements:
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Commercial driving license for operating company vehicles
- Ability to weld and solder gas pipes effectively
- Competency in carpentry skills for fitting appliances securely
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system issues efficiently
- Skilful use of power tools for cutting and assembling gas components
- Experience in heavy lifting as part of the job requirement
