The pandemic drastically reshaped the procurement market. With companies still grappling with long-term impacts, many procurement professionals are frustrated by stagnant salaries and limited career advancement. In contrast, consultancy has surged in popularity, offering rapid progression and exciting exposure to diverse procurement projects and categories.
My client, a leading global consultancy, has been rapidly expanding their esteemed team since 2021. They are now seeking experienced construction procurement professionals to join their ranks and contribute to some of the largest procurement projects worldwide.
From renewable energy farms and railways to airports and skyscrapers, you'll gain invaluable experience across a variety of high-value projects, accelerating your procurement skills. Expect swift career advancement, with previous candidates moving into Senior Procurement Consultancy roles within 12-18 months. This is your chance to join a dynamic, forward-thinking consultancy and fast-track your career to new heights.
As a Construction Procurement Consultant, you will:
- Drive commercial growth and cost savings through comprehensive market analysis, presenting your insights to key stakeholders, and aiding in the development of innovative procurement strategies.
- Transform existing procurement processes for an array of Blue-Chip clients by engaging in traditional procurement activities such as strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and supplier relationship management.
Whilst previous Consultancy experience is not required, you must have strong experience working on end-to-end construction procurement projects, and have demonstratable experience working with NEC 3, NEC 4, or FIDIC contracts. A strong academic background (Degree + CIPS) is also desirable but not essential.
This is an English-speaking role, so you must be 100% business fluent in English. Candidates must also have full rights to work in the UK.
