Attention Contract Managers!

Blueprint Recruitment has a brilliant new opportunity for a motivated Contract Manager to join a leading Energy and Solutions Company on a hybrid, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management, from negotiation and drafting to execution and performance monitoring. Our client focuses on the full project life cycle, from the, Engineering and Procurement to the Construction and Installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring with the Project Director/Manager all the contractual milestones and related payments
  • Act as the point of contact for Clients on contractual matters
  • Ensure active management of all Variations and Invoicing on the project
  • Advise Project Director/Manager on any aspect of the contracts
  • Manage contractual and commercial risks on the project to ensure risks are identified early
  • Claims' management, e.g. Insurance and Arbitration claims
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal
  • Work with legal and finance teams to manage contractual liabilities
  • Establish the milestones completion notices, collects the necessary back up to allow invoicing providing Finance and Control functions with this documentation
  • Develops and implements all relevant project management Contractual and Commercial procedures
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors and other parties

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Law or a relative Field
  • Proven experience in Contract Management, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of contract law and legal terminlogy
  • Able to work collaboratively and Independently
