We are working with leading automation organisation that specialize in oil & gas production, transportation and processing, supporting them with appointing new engineering professionals to various roles related to PLC & SCADA control systems.
For these roles our client can consider Control Systems experience from either a Maintenance, Installation, Commissioning and Software Programming perspective. Our client can consider any industry sector background and any level of knowledge across these 3 areas for this role:
1x Field Service Engineer
The role has an OTE of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum. This is inclusive of site uplifts, offshore and site allowances/multipliers, paid overtime, and a basic salary.
This role will be attending customer sites and supporting existing systems, diagnosing issues, resolving problems, performing upgrades etc. All detailed software and technical support will be provided by their Technical Engineers in their head office.
This role will also require visits to offshore sites, The company will pay and provide training and certification for offshore BOSIET and Medical certification. Offshore working will be essential for this role.
In addition to this, there is an annual bonus of 5-10% plus benefits such as Private Medical Health Care, Life assurance, up to 11% combined pension etc.

- Basic PLC / SCADA / HMI software familiarity (debugging, following instruction to modify code etc.)
- Competent electrical experience for working on live control systems (accessing panels etc.)
- Industrial network & communications knowledge for troubleshooting (exposure to protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, Device Net, or anything similar in an industrial network environment)
