This is a great opportunity to join a progressive, leading company. Our client is looking for an experienced Fire alarm engineer to join their growing team. They are looking for someone to look after the entire fire alarm side of the business and make it grow. Within this position you will be responsible for providing a high quality and customer orientated service. Main Responsibilities: - Carry out service, repair and installation works to requirements of BS5839 & BS5266 - Work from detailed commercial drawings and diagrams - Testing and inspection of commercial fire alarm installations - Work effectively and efficiently with a wide range of commercial installations - Ensure test certificates and reports are completed - Carry out diagnostic fault finding - Assist with the planning of works - Provide a 24 hour call out cover on a rota basis Within this role you will be required to travel to other offices and sites as required. Experience & Qualifications: - BS7671:2018 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regs - Recognised training - BS5266 Part 1 Emergency Lighting Systems - Holds a current site card or prepared to attain - F Gas training - BS5306 - Recognised training by FIA or other professional body in BS(Apply online only) part 1 - Experience within a similar/related role (essential) - Commercial installation experience (Essential) - Familiar with relevant construction H&S legislation (Essential) - Fault finding (Essential) - Experience with managed and close protocol systems & gas suppression systems (Essential) Skills: - Understand the process of inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting - Ability to identify specific colours particular to electrical wiring - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office You will also need to have a full, clean UK driving licence for this position, For more information, please contact Daniel Horton on (phone number removed)
