Gas Engineer required for permanent role in Wiltshire.

Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a leading public sector organisation working as part of their in-house repairs and maintenance team covering Wiltshire.
Your new role
Your role will be carrying out responsible repairs including servicing, breakdown and installation to the clients housing stock. You will required to work unsupervised in some occupied and unoccupied properties, undertaking a range of works and producing updated gas safety certificates where applicable. You will also be expected to keep updated health and safety records for each property and uphold high standards of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to hold a relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification, current membership to Gas Safety Register and hold ACS qualifications including CCN1, CEN1 and WAT1 (any additional qualifications would be an advantage). Previous experience of domestic servicing, repairs and breakdown is essential and a clean driving licence will be required. Candidate will also be expected to be competent using portable handheld equipment whilst working on their own accord
