Heating Engineer / Plumbing Works

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: 40,000 Base salary, Overtime is there to Earn over 50,000

Are you looking for your next Heating Engineer role? A successful contractor is seeking engineers to carry out general maintenance works within properties on one of their multiple social housing contract in Tower hamlets, East London.

Job Description

• Attend calls from residents to rectify their issues

• Isolate property/equipment to carry out repairs and replacements of

• Replace, repair and alter pipework where necessary

• Replace motorized valves and immersion heaters within properties

• Install cylinders / thermal stores / water tanks

• Carry out block shutdowns for works to be completed

• Fault finding and maintenance on HIUs

• Diagnose heating and hot water issues within properties / blocks

• Use a PDA system to take pictures and write reports on the works undertaken

• Be a point of call for residents when they are without or lacking services

• Cap and / or replace TRVs / Lockshields/ Wheelheads

• Isolate, drain down, remove and cap leaking radiators

• Replacing radiators

Essential Criteria

• NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing

• Full UK Driving License

• Good written and verbal communication

• Be part of the call out rota
