Burman Recruitment are currently working with a higher education client based in the south east on the search for a Head of Estates Operations on an contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day to day running of estates maintenance operations to ensure a high standard of Student experience is delivered.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, data governance, regulatory standards, internal processes, and protocols, and in particular health and safety provisions
• Responsible for ensuring effective contract management and securing VFM for contracted out services in line with the Strategy and Operational plan.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the planned and reactive mechanical, electrical and building related maintenance, to an outstanding standard in compliance with current legislation.
• IOSH Managing Safety certificate
• Strong knowledge of Asbestos, Legionella, Gas, Electricity, H&S, Construction design and management.
