Role: Junior or Mid-Level electronics engineer (ideally 2 years + experience)
Location: Whitstable
Salary: £30,000 - £36,500

We are looking for a junior OR mid-level electronic design engineer.
What we are looking for is either a graduate with a good electronics degree and some experience of working on PCB's down to component level, or someone who has previous working experience of repairing electronic equipment down to component level, preferably in the industrial environment.
Repair to component level on old and new PCBs and fault find & test variable speed drives, Plcs and lift electronics
We are a small, family run business looking to grow and we are very successful and highly regarded in what we do as we are in the process of expanding our workshop
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Natural flair for problem solving & diagnostics of electronic circuits to component level
- HNC or equivalent in electronics engineering would be desirable
- IPC-A-610 certified & experience of electronics component handling
- Experience of diagnostic equipment eg multi-meters & oscilloscopes etc
- Experienced in the soldering of fine-pitch electronic components
- MS Office tools experience
- Strong academic background in electronic design for both digital and analogue circuits
- Solid first principles skills used in circuit design and component selection
- Awareness of common CAD packages for PCB design and manufacture such as Solid works and/or AutoCAD would be advantageous
- Familiarity with circuit design and emulation tools such as Altium Designer
