LPG Field Engineer / Gas Engineer

East Anglia Area

£30,000 - £38,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an LPG Field Engineer to cover their East Anglia region. Responsibilities include:

  • Installing, exchanging and uplifting LPG vessels
  • Carrying out ten year testing of LPG vessels
  • Carrying out annual visual inspections of LPG vessels
  • Attending emergency call outs
  • Loading and unloading LPG vessels
  • Completing service works on LPG installations

What are the hours?

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid overtime on occasions of emergencies.

What are they looking for?

At least one of the below:

  • Gas safe registered to ACS level in Domestic Core LPG Safety PO and HR level, Vess 1 and Electro Fusion Jointing and Vess 2 and Gas or LPG Metres; or
  • Gas Safe Registered and hold CCLP1EPC (LPG External Pipework) and TPCP1 (Non Domestic Testing and Purging) categories; or
  • Gas Safe Registered and certificated through the Gas Competency Scheme

Additionally required:

  • Previous experience as a gas engineer
  • Driving licence
  • Confidence working autonomously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A 'safety first' mindset
  • Great planning and organisation skills
