  • Location: Runcorn, UK (with occasional travel to client sites as necessary)
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 GROSS PA
  • Hours: 37.5 from Monday to Friday.

The company:We design, manufacture, and supply advanced water treatment equipment. These are effective as stand-alone solutions or as easy-to-integrate plant for existing treatment trains. We upgrade the water management process, allowing compliance with strict regulations (to trace levels) by the reduction of organic contaminants and colour. Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multiskilled Technician with expertise in manufacturing, refurbishing, and servicing electrochemical wastewater equipment. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our electrochemical wastewater systems. The role involves a willingness to travel and work away from home, primarily based in Runcorn.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing, Refurbishment, and Servicing.
  • Lead manufacturing and refurbishment processes for electrochemical plants.
  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance activities.
  • Workshop organisation and improvement.

Travel and Location:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to travel and work away from home.
  • Predominantly based in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent Engineering Qualification(s).
  • Electrical: Mechanical 50:50 bias.

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds 18th edition
  • City & Guilds Testing and Inspection
  • Training to use access equipment, such as MEWP or FLT.

Experience:

  • Background in water, chemical, or oil & gas industries
  • It would benefit the candidate to have experience installing and maintaining: pumps, pipes, valves, and tanks; power and control systems; ventilation and extraction.
  • Continuous Improvement training or experience.
  • Previous experience in multiple engineering roles.

Desirable:

  • Experience with electrochemical process equipment.

Key Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • IT proficiency
