Job Title : Offer Marketing Engineer Location: Scarborough UK Mission and responsibilities: The offer management team plays a key role in the Global ETO organization- as a group that is focused to scale up low voltage public distribution products developed, standardized & sold from UK - Based within a factory setup in Scarborough, the offer management team will be managing bespoke offers of product families such as LV feeder pillars, cPSPs, SAIF & Shielded fusible solutions, MODE switch gear. As an Offer Marketing Engineer, you will play a key role in managing our offers in various market segments such as utility, oil & gas, e-mobility. This position is accountable for management of offers over its life cycle from identifying and prioritizing product and customer specifications to successful execution in the market. The position develops the Offer Roadmap specific to the portfolio. This role works closely with commercial, R&D Designers, DFSR practitioner, tendering and quality to continually improve the offer (price, competitive features and promotion) to reach the company's overall strategy and goals, grow and balance sales, profit and market share and ensuring customer satisfaction is met. Roles & Responsibilities The Offer Marketing Engineer is accountable to: Strategic Marketing - manage the execution of the current product offer portfolio and define the future product strategy and roadmap through research and analysis. Market intelligence - visit customers, sales and distributors to solicit feedback and review competitive data to define market and product requirement documents and provide corresponding justification to define future Offer Roadmap investment. Product positioning - be an expert for the assigned products with respect to customer use and competition to create messages to differentiate your products in the market. Price positioning - gather intelligence and recommend price positioning strategies. Enable sales - manage offer information from creation to distribution to ensure sales, distributors and customers are provided access to relevant information and systems and tools such as product technical/data/drawing literature, desktop and e-mobility quotation and e-commerce tools. Demand generation - develop and drive the marketing communications calendar of events for the portfolio and work with marcom to drive demand for your products via promotions, advertising, and campaigns. Product enhancements - manage product enhancements from business case preparation to implementation and product positioning in the market CTQ management - working with principal reliability engineer, capture & manage critical to quality requirements of our offer portfolio through Voice of Customer. Map customer use case of our product through mission profile. Manage requirements in Jama connect software. Codes & Standards - Full understanding and compliance mapping of our product portfolio to suit various DNO requirements, IEC standards and country specific product compliance requirements. Support Codes and Standards development and/or propose the product adaptation to comply with local codes, standards, and norms. Customer satisfaction Manage issues associated with product quality to maintain customer satisfaction Product Catalogue & training - Prepare comprehensive product marketing catalogue, provide product training to Channel, Sales, Competency Centres, Customer Care, Services teams, Technical Support and Customers Global liaison Liaise with global counterparts on product development and marketing programs. Collaboration - with business development & commercial management to put strategic plans into action leveraging all available sales channels and partnerships. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in marketing of electrical switchgear in offer creation and life cycle management teams bachelor's in electrical engineering Master's in business administration with marketing specialization (desirable) Excellent capacity to listen. Strong fundamental understanding of electrical systems and equipment Excellent analytical and technical skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal negotiation and influencing skills. Good understanding of Marketing Fundamentals (Value Proposition, Price Management, Product Positioning, Promotion and Market Segmentation). Good understanding of digital and social media tools. Willing and able to travel within UK and abroad. Fluent in English (spoken and written) Autonomous, entrepreneurial & team spirited Strong interpersonal skills, ethical .
