The main duties of the Production Controller role will include:
- Releasing manufacturing works orders in line with MRP requirements and material availability.
- Monitoring internally manufactured & purchased parts flow via the ERP system and updating shared company documents to ensure that all relevant departments are fully informed on part status & availability.
- Creating, maintaining and sharing effective assembly schedules using Microsoft Excel.
- Attending and ultimately chairing regular planning meetings.
- Notifying the customer-facing team of any potential schedule impacts.
- Have experience in a production or supply chain environment. This position may also suit someone with no previous Production Control experience that currently works in a manufacturing, stores or logistics role and has a desire to further develop their skillset.
