Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (overtime/weekend working required as necessary)

The Company specialise in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Heavy Engineering, Renewables and Civil & Infrastructure markets, transporting and moving difficult loads UK & Worldwide. They operate from their 5-acre site in Halifax, 10-acre site in Goole & 6-acre site in Grangemouth.
Project Manager / Intermediate / Junior - The Role:
We have two opportunities working as part of the 'projects' team and with the 'commercial' team, these appointments will report directly to the Senior Project Manager for each role in the company.
Industry approved further education will be provided for the correct candidate. The appointment will enjoy a varied work load and will have opportunity to help grow and develop the Heavy Lift & Projects division, contributing to the Company's development and their own prospects for promotion.
Project Manager / Intermediate / Junior - Key Responsibilities:
- Fielding incoming calls and emails from Customers, Drivers and Sub-contractors
- Assisting and dealing with the planning & scheduling of Road transport operations
- Planning and assisting with the movement of Abnormal Indivisible Loads (AIL's), including obtaining required permits, undertaking route surveys, and providing customer reports
- Managing operations on a cost-effective basis
- Obtaining quotations for tender inclusion, various commercial activities
- Assisting in producing method statements, CAD drawings, lift plans etc
Project Manager / Intermediate / Junior - You:
Experience Required:
- The Project Manager role - must have previous experience in the Road Freight / Logistics sector, capable of running their own projects
- The Junior / Int PM candidate's will initially be responsible to assist with running of projects / commercial operations, and then develop to take responsibility and manage these functions
- They must be customer focused, have an attention to detail, be able to complete all necessary documentation, commercially astute and be suitable to work on a personal level with the client base
Office Skills:
- Demonstrate ability to complete tasks, with attention to detail
- Have a good understanding and geographic knowledge of UK and Europe
- Ability to record and report progress & development of the task
- High level of Computer skill and competency, (use of CAD Software advantageous)
