Quality Engineer - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

We are looking for an experienced and talented Quality Engineer to support the completion of quality plans within a timely manner. You will regularly review and report that compliance is met to the quality process for - Coatings, Material Testing, NDT (Non Destructive Testing), European Directives, and Supplier Qualification.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Collaborate with Customers, both internal and external, to resolve any Quality related issues
Support in the development and monitoring quality control plans
Review client specifications and liaise with the Quality Department
Support and chair meetings relevant to position.
Communicate with internal departments to ensure that projects are delivered on time
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Apprentice Trained and/or HNC/Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant experience within Oil & Gas, Materials, Welding or NDT would be desirable
Good working knowledge of International and other industry standards
Awareness of basic welding, casting & forming processes
Working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to adapt to change
Exciting projects that may require travel in UK or Abroad occasionally
A strong decision maker who is good at problem solving
