Day to day tasks
- Optimise the extraction of hydrocarbons while minimizing costs and environmental impact.
- You will analyse the results and provide recommendations to drilling and production teams to guide decision-making.
- Maintain customer visibility through active participation in professional society activities.
- Assist in evaluating technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders as related to the area of expertise.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, geology, or a related field
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, as well as experience with programming languages and specialized reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG
- A thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry is necessary, as well as an understanding of drilling, production, and reservoir engineering principles
- Full relocation support offered for successful candidates, but you must be willing to relocate to Abingdon/surrounding area.
