An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Office Manager to join a new business division, and part of a wider group of companies that are global manufacturers of industry-leading combustion management systems for industrial boiler and burner applications. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where a hands-on attitude is vital. In return the company offer a salary up to £65,000 per annum, and you will also receive private pension and healthcare, 23 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays rising to 25 days through the company's loyalty scheme, plus up to 5 'family days' for emergencies/problems with childcare/plumbers etc. Innovation and quality are cornerstones of their business and as such, they manufacture 98% of their products onsite in their HQ just outside of London. As a family business with over 50 years of history, they have grown into an award-winning export champion with a global distribution network, working with high profile customers including the Tower of London and a number of Las Vegas Casino hotels! As a Sales Office Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient policies and procedures.
  • Attending monthly management meetings
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Addressing employee queries regarding office management issues (e.g., policies, procedures, facilities).
  • Ensuring compliance with company regulations and standards.
  • Assisting with sending marketing material and introductory letters/emails to potential engineers, consultants, and clients to bring leads to the sales team.
  • Inviting and coordinating visits to the company's training facility and assist with organising events.
  • Managing Sales Ledger duties including sales orders and invoicing (low volume currently)
  • Providing a report to the Board every two weeks
We are looking for a Sales Office Manager who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Significant proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Experience working in a sales and manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Sage 200 Accounting software.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
This is a fully office-based position, core working hours are Monday-Friday, 08:30-5.30pm.
