Job: Senior Integrity Engineer

As part of a Senior Integrity Engineer role you will be accountable for the management and control of all assets within a geographical area to ensure a robust safe asset system. You will achieve this through the support and provision of site visits, the coordination of engineering field activities with multiple stakeholders, customer meetings and service liaison, training and development.
You will be dynamic and adaptive to managing multiple projects within your area to meet our customer needs by providing the best engineering solution in relation to their metering configurations and all the associated ancillary equipment to support these functions. You will need to collaborate at all levels of the business and with external stakeholders and have a 'can do' attitude. Ensuring our values of 'doing the right thing', 'finding a better way' and 'making it happen', will underpin all that you do.
You will lead investigations into asset performance and condition including related failures and incidents, evaluate audit findings, managing the overall corrective actions and writing reports to provide feedback to all key stakeholders. You will have key involvement in our strategic asset management plans with the delivery of major projects.
You will look ahead to anticipate problems and use your judgement and insight to influence positive change whilst also being responsible for evaluating investment requirements against condition, risk and whole life costs and installation. In this role you will be required to participate in a 24/7 standby rota. (Only 1 in every 15 days for 24 hours and there is not a requirement to leave home.)
To be successful in this role you will need experience in the gas metering installation industry at all pressure tiers, have an understanding of UK legislation and standards applicable to this field and as such hold appropriate 'Gas Safe' qualifications. It would be advantageous for you to have working knowledge of PSSR regs. You must have a valid UK driving licence.
