Senior Process Engineer - Asset Optimisation
Role Context:
As Senior Process Engineer within the Asset Optimisation team at Worley, you will be responsible for leading and delivering process engineering work in the early phase of engineering (feasibility, concept, pre-FEED), for scopes related to asset optimisation, process de-bottlenecking, emission reduction, and repurposing of onshore and offshore assets.
The Asset Optimisation team is focused on delivery of projects which will help our clients improve efficiency and reduce emissions across asset portfolios. It is passionate about sustainability and developing solutions which optimise use of resources, minimise impacts on health and the surrounding environment, and support our societies and economies.
The Asset Optimisation Team is engaged in a diverse range of projects globally. Examples include oil and gas clients seeking to improve their existing operations, which could be changes to operation of existing facilities, proposals for new facilities incorporating latest technologies or integration of new energy solutions.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK, with remote working and occasional visits to the office.
You'll Be:
- Leading and delivering process engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Providing process engineering input into multidisciplinary studies related to asset optimisation.
- Supporting the study lead/process lead to frame technical solutions to our customers' unique needs.
- If required, acting as the process engineering lead on specific projects and or study lead coordinating a multidiscipline team.
- Generating cost estimates for study work with limited need for support.
- Outlining project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress.
- Proactively resolving any discrepancies between Worley and its customer's requirements.
You'll have:
- A Degree (minimum BSc) in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- A passion for sustainable solutions and helping clients integrate these into their existing / new operations and facilities.
- Experience in process engineering in the early phase of engineering and/or in the operation phase.
- Experience in the use of industry recognised process engineering simulation software such as UniSim, HYSYS etc.
- Familiarity with Decision Analysis Tools - e.g., Paired Comparisons.
- The ability to develop cost estimate and develop economic models for process engineering scopes.
- Competency in use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
