As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and ensuring the smooth operation of products. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on customers satisfaction.
South West - Servicing the following areas: Swindon, Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Bath
DUTIES:
- Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, Servicing and repair of company product- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Keep accurate records of service visits, including detailed reports on findings and actions taken
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Proven experience of working with heating appliances or servicing comparable equipment in the field.
-Full driving licence.
-The Service Engineers are required to have and maintain the following training certificates to carry out the work:
-CCN1 (Domestic Core Gas Safety), HTR1 (Gas Fires & Wall Heaters), CONGLP1 (LPG Changeover)
-CPA1 - Combustion Analysis
-GAS SAFE requirements (OFTEC also an advantage)
The following qualifications whilst not essential, would be an advantage:
-Part P Electrical Safety
-Electrical safe isolation
-HETAS Certification
-Hetas H002 (Solid fuel regulations and Standards)
-Hetas H003 (Dry Appliance Installer)
-Hetas H004 (Wet Appliance installer)
-Hetas H006 (Internal twin wall chimney system installer)
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant products and systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
