We are seeking talented Graduate / Junior Software Engineers to join a fast-growing technical consultancy delivering software & hardware solutions to British MoD projects.
The company take on complex projects that require deep problem solving. You get to choose from that range of projects and to set your own destiny in terms of learning and development, whilst being mentored and supported in your development by a fantastic team.
What do you need?
Candidates must have a strong academic background from a Russell Group university (Oxford, Imperial, Durham, Southampton), typically with a first-class degree or PhD in a numerate subject such as physics, engineering or maths. Along with top grade A-Level results in similar STEM categories.
You will need a highly analytical mindset, strong technical skills, a natural flair for solving complex problems and knowledge of hardware, software, electronics and engineering principles.
Although not a pre-requisite, capabilities in any of the following areas are of particular interest:
- RF system design and implementation
- Signal processing algorithm design
- Software development (eg C/C++/Java)
- VHDL implementation for FPGAs
- Analogue/digital electronics design and implementation
- PCB schematic capture and layout
